What a busy time it has been in the Junior Infnat classroom!
December was a month full of fun, joy, exploration and creativity!
There was great excitement on the lead up to our Christmas Show 'Ralph the Reindeer'! The boys were amazing at directing, discussing and sharing their ideas on how to make the show amazing! We worked as a team to learn all our songs, lines and actions for this fun filled play! It was an amazing show and the boys should all be very proud of themselves!!! Well done Junior Infants!!!
Junior Infants have enjoyed visiting our super school library where we have some fantastic reading time with all of the beautiful books! We realy enjoyed listening to some winter stories!
Junior Infnats are always so busy creating wonderful works of art and this month we fpcused on using our own imagination for a variety of art projects! We painted, cut, glued, drew and even got our hands (and classroom!!!) very messy with all of the materials! The children thoroughly enjoyed getting creative and exploring the possibilities within our Arts Curriculum! Lots of future artists on our hands that is for sure!!!
On our last day of school before the Christmas holidays, the boys had all eanred a golden ticket to attend our classroom cinema! We had a fantastic time roleplaying visiting the cinema including buying tickets and snacks and getting to our very special seats! Along with our super cinema we were the luckiest boys to receive a visit from Santa Claus!!! Santa loved hearing all of the boys questions and oit was fantastic news to hear we all made the nice list!!!!!
WOW! We really have been so busy in the junior infant classroom having so much fun!!!!
