February was a fantastic month in 1st class.

We had so many different activities throughout the month to keep us busy and educated! Between Midterm break, Valentines Day and St Brigids Day we were so busy!

The boys made fantastic St Brigid Day crosses and made them themsevles, with the help of Ms Turley!! We had so much fun doing this activity and the boys did an amazing job! We did not make typical St Brigid crosses but made our own technique using pipe cleaners! It was definitely a learning experience for the boys!!

Valentines Day came by and the boys made beautiful art work!! Well done to the boys!!

This month we have been focusing on Marine Environment and the three R's. We covered this in SESE and the boys were really invested and enjoying it so we decided to explore it more! We had the pleasure of the senior members of the Greeen School Committee coming to our room and doing some fun activities with us!! We made some lovely posters making the students in our school more aware of the importance of recycling. The boys learned so much from the Green School Commitee and made their own questions to ask them!! We learned so much from this topic and have decided to bring this learning experience into March to develop it further!!!

Well done boys for the amazing and continued work throughout this month and the whole year!!
