We have been doing a cycle safety course with 'Cycle Right'
Cycle Right is the National Standard for Cycle Training and provides practical cycle safety and skills training to promote competent and confident cyclists. It is an inclusive programme, produced and supported by the Department of Transport, the Road Safety Authority and Cycling Ireland, with input from central and local agencies and other groups.
Every Tuesday we will do practical cycling lessons where we learn the rules of the road for cyclists and and all about the safety equipment and how to maintain our bikes in a safe way.
Some of us bring our bikes to school anyway but since this week a lot more boys are cycling to school on Tuesdays which is great to see.
