Dear parent /guardian,
As you may already know Saint Mary's will remain closed until February. We are now engaging with our students remotely.
Most of the children took their books home before Christmas. For those children who did not manage to take their books home please contact us and we can arrange collection. If your child needs a device for remote learning please let his class teacher know and we will arrange one.
Class teachers are now engaging with their class online twice daily since Monday, January 11th. Class teachers may also Seesaw and/or Aladdin to assign, gather and correct work. These sessions may not be recorded, shared or distributed. We ask that your child engages with as many sessions as possible.
A timetable indicating when each class will have access to online face to face sessions with their teachers has already been sent out to you. These sessions will continue until further notice from the Department of Education.
Class teachers held a Zoom meeting on Monday evening January 11th with their class parents to outline their weekly timetable, daily plan of work, expectations, student well-being and Acceptable Use/GDPR compliance.
SET /EAL teachers have been in contact with parents tomorrow to organize remote face to face support starting next Monday with the children they work with. SNAs will do the same to help support children with their organization and well-being.
If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher or the school at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Thank you, keep safe and kind regards.
