Teachers, pupils and parents have realised now, more than ever, the importance of the internet through our reliance on this resource for remote learning. However, we must remember the internet can be a dangerous place. It is important for everyone to use it correctly, but especially pupils.

This week we celebrated Internet Safety Day and dedicated our live sessions to cover some important material teaching us about the importance of Internet Safety.
Rang a Sé completed four modules of the Webwise programme, each one providing important lessons about our internet use.

3. My Selfie and the Wider World
4. Safer Internet Day Presentations for Primary Schools
We explored why we need to always remember the SMART internet code when using the internet.
They will also complete the 'Internet Legend' online internet safety game created by Google to test their awareness of internet safety and use.
