At last when all 19 were completed, we cut off the excess nylon, and went back into the class to glue on the eyes.
We all had a saucer for our individual Grasshead, and the next day, when the eyes were glued and dry, we started to water our heads.
It didn't take long for the bald heads to sprout their grass hair.
Actually, by Day 5, we could see the green shoots.
At this stage - week 3 - they all have a full head of lusk, green, grassy hair.
They need a haircut - just like most of us at this stage!!
