PREPARATION FOR CONFIRMATION IN PARISH CENTRE THURSDAY 9th JANUARY at 7:30 pm: As per our email Dec 19th, we wish to remind you that the meeting for parents/guradians of children registered for the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place this Thursday evening, the 9th of Jan at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.Thereafter we look forward to welcoming you with your son or daughter to either next Saturday’s 6pm Mass (Sat 11th of Jan) or the following Saturday’s 6p.m Mass ( Jan 18th) for their official enrolment into the preparatory programme for Confirmation. - Flu is circulating widely in the community, with children being significantly affected.
- Please remind families that anyone who is unwell should remain at home to help prevent the spread of infection.
- Cough and sneeze etiquette, along with regular hand hygiene, are essential to limiting the spread of illness.
- The free nasal flu vaccine for children aged 2–17 is still available through local pharmacies and GPs.
