LATE OPENING THURSDAY 9th JANUARY: In light of the status orange low temperature weather warning on the News, the local conditions and access to school, we will delay the opening of the school gates until 10:30am Thursday morning, January 9th , with class starting at 10:45. The status orange weather warning remains in place until 11am, so please monitor your local conditions before travelling to school. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. PREPARATION FOR CONFIRMATION IN PARISH CENTRE THURSDAY 9th JANUARY at 7:30 pm: As per our email Dec 19th, we wish to remind you that the meeting for parents/guradians of children registered for the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place this Thursday evening, the 9th of Jan at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.Thereafter we look forward to welcoming you with your son or daughter to either next Saturday’s 6pm Mass (Sat 11th of Jan)  or the following Saturday’s 6p.m Mass ( Jan 18th) for their official enrolment into the preparatory programme for Confirmation. Regards, Fiona Henry and Catherine Ballance. HSE ADVISE ON FLU: As the cold weather continues, the HSE public health division has asked for your help in sharing the following important information with your school community: For more information, go to hse.ie/flu

  • Flu is circulating widely in the community, with children being significantly affected.
  • Please remind families that anyone who is unwell should remain at home to help prevent the spread of infection.
  • Cough and sneeze etiquette, along with regular hand hygiene, are essential to limiting the spread of illness.
  • The free nasal flu vaccine for children aged 2–17 is still available through local pharmacies and GPs.

TESCO MERRION: (in The Merrion Centre, Merrion Road, D04 YX39) has chosen the St. Mary's BNS Parents' Association as one of their community fund participants, starting Monday 25 November for 12 weeks.  Please drop in to do a shop and pop the blue tokens in the relevant box to support Mary's BNS.
