Congratulations to our Senior Gaelic Football team on reaching their quarter final against Castleknock Educate Together School. We did not win our match, but we thank all the boys for representing our school so well. We congratulate the victors and wish them all the best in the best of the tournament.  Again a sincere thank you to  all the teaching staff who volunteer their time for training and matches and for all the parents who provide lifts and look after the football kit. It is very much appreciated by all.

We welcome all our new Junior Infants who have settled in so quickly into Saint Mary's BNS and are enjoying many playful learning activites with Ms Hastings, Ms. Barney and Deborah.  2nd-6th classes have begun to work on talking about maths, sharing their ideas, examining their work, revoicing, extending and then reflecting on the work they have done They have begun to write a  simple maths journal diary.  Many classes have set up class contracts. Thursday the 26th of September was SNA Appreciation Day. We had a whole school assembly to present cards to our SNAs and thank them for all the wonderful care and kindness they show to us. We really appreciate them. We also had our "Nice One" awards and "Principal's Certificates".  Congratulations to our Senior Gaelic Football Team who won a thrilling match last week in their first game of the season. Maith sibh.

Congratulations to Our Senior Gaelic Football team.
