In St. Mary’s, as an Active School, we have a strong tradition in Gaelic Games. The strength, courage and sense of pride it gives the children is something we are very proud of. We currently field both Senior and Junior teams in Gaelic football as we aim to nurture a love for our national game.
We have strong links with local GAA clubs and the hard work put in by all involved has resulted in St. Mary’s achieving great success over the last decade.
We have reached the Cumann na mBunscol finals in Croke Park every year over the last few years and have been fortunate to win the Sciath an Chéad and Corn Mhic Chaoilte. Since then we have continued to move up divisions in both the junior and senior leagues.
We continue to strive for success and look forward to new players joining us in the upcoming season.
