FUNDRAISING WEEKLY DRAW: St. Mary's Boys' National School is launching its weekly fundraiser draw this week. The money raised from this fundraising initiative will be used to directly support your children's education and purchase resources for our school including sports equipment, sports coaching, classroom and teaching resources. Student Council AGM with Board of Management 2025.
St Mary's Student Council had its annual AGM meeting on with our school Board of Management. It was a very successful meeting. The Student Council explained that the Council uses the Lundy Model for its meetings and that the Lundy Model enables the Student Council to have space, voice, audience and influence.
The New Primary Curriculum Framework has 7 key competencies. The Student Council used these 7 competencies as a framework for their AGM. Each member of the Council took a competency and explained to the BOM what the school and the Student Council were doing to implement each competency in Saint Mary's.
