WHOLE SCHOOL MEETING 23/9/2026 at 19:30. The Board of Management is seeking feedback on our school specific results from the Dept of Education Have Your Say survey last year.This looked at schools’ and parents’ views in 3 areas a) Co-educational or single-sex provision b) Patronage/ethos c) Language of instruction. RUN DUBLIN RUN PLEASE REGISTER:  Run Dublin Run will be held in Irishtown on Saturday 19th September from 10:30-12:30. Please put the date in your diary. We ask that as many children and parents participate in this fun event that will raise money for our school and the Parents Association. BRONNTANAS DLR  LIBRARIES FESTIVAL:  This September, dlr Libraries joins with Gaeilge365 to host Bronntanas , a new festival celebrating the possibilities the Irish language creates for families. Every event is designed to help parents and children create memories through Irish, regardless of their language ability. CYBERSAFEKIDS REPORT SEPTEMBER 2026: The Year Little Changed" is an annual snapshot of children's digital lives in Ireland, providing a detailed overview of data collected in the 2025-26 academic year from over 7,000 children (aged 8-15). It's a vital insight into how children spend their time online, levels of access, and children's experiences, both positive and negative. JUNIOR CYCLE SUBJECT LEAFLETS: The Department of Education and Youth has created new subject and career leaflets for all 6 th class pupils, their families and their teachers. These leaflets explain the subjects your child can choose for Junior Cycle and give short, easy to understand information on each one. You can find the leaflets at this link. TUSLA: A SHORT GUIDE FOR PARENTS WHO ARE NEWLY  ARRIVED IN IRELAND: Please see link below to an information leaflet  from TUSLA related to Child Safeguarding that was shared with the school at our  Child Safeguarding staff training day in September.  It's entitled,  A Short Guide for Parents Who Are Newly Arrived in ireland.
