FUNDRAISING WEEKLY DRAW: St. Mary's Boys' National School is launching its weekly fundraiser draw this week. The money raised from this fundraising initiative will be used to directly support your children's education and purchase resources for our school including sports equipment, sports coaching, classroom and teaching resources. Our first draw will be on Thursday 18th December at 20:00. Please see the fundraiser link button on our website.  We hope that the weekly option of 1 line for €2.50 will allow everybody to contribute, but it would be hugely appreciated if you can contribute €5 for 3 lines, and you never know you might just win! CHRISTMAS FAIR: THANK YOU:  On behalf of the Board of Managment, myself and all the staff can we extend a huge thank you to Jeanann & all the members of the Parents' Assocation who organsed a brilliant Christmas Fair  in ouer school hall. A huge amount of energy & work went into organising the event and many hours were spent setting up the hall and the community centre, looking after stalls and tidying up after the event.  We thank all the families  and past pupils who supported us at this  annual event. It was a lovely occasion to help welcome in  and mark the Christmas season.

SAVE THE DATES: We are happy to inform you of the dates and times of our Christmas performances. Pupils from 2nd - 6th Classes will participate in our Senior Carol Service which will take place on Tuesday 16th December at 7:00 pm in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Booterstown Ave. More information will follow at a later date. Junior performances will take place in the Old School Hall on Grotto Ave. on the following dates:

Junior Infants: Tuesday 16th December at 12:00 pm
Senior Infants:  Wednesday 17th December at 12:00 pm
1st Class: Thursday 18th December at 1:00 pm

SCHOOL CLOSURE FOR STAFF TRAINING: Saint Mary's BNS will be closed for students on Thursday January 29th 2026 and Thursday April 30th 2026 for staff training for the New Primary Curriculum Framework. 

BOOTERSTOWN CHILDCARE SERVICES: Booterstown Childcare Services offer morning and afterschool care services for children attending Saint Mary's BNS and Our Lady of Mercy Convent school. Please see link with times and contact details. Before and After School Booterstown Childcare Services.
