At the end of January, we made St. Brigid crosses to mark St Brigid's Day on the 1st of February.
During February, we learnt about length and area. We got to estimate and measure the length of objects and the surfaces of objects in the classroom using non-standard units. We had fun deciding what units of measurement to use to measure each object.
The Chinese New Year began on February 17th - the same day as Lent began! We listened to the story of the Zodiac and which animals were chosen to name each year after.
In Literacy, we read reports about Spain and France. We wrote reports on Italy and went on to research a country of our choice using the Chromebooks and write a report on that country.
