June has been a busy and very enjoyable month at school. As the school year draws to close and as we finish much of our academic work we have had the chance to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather.
On Monday 15th we visited Blackrock Library, where we learned how to locate and borrow books independently.
Last week, we celebrated Active Week with a range of exciting activities. On Tuesday, we hosted our own mini World Cup, followed by athletics races in Booterstown Park on Wednesday. Thursday was spent enjoying a variety of sports and games in the school yard, with the bouncy castle proving to be a big hit.
To round off the week, we celebrated Multicultural Day on Friday, sampling a delicious array of foods from around the world. It was a wonderful week filled with fun, learning, and new experiences. We are now looking forward to our tour next week to Emerald Park!
