March was a very interesting and fun packed month for us in 1st class!!
We learned about Length in Maths and the boys really got stuck in and involved! We learned about standard and non-standard units of measurement. We learned about estimation and etimating the length/width of different objects in our classroom and outside!! We also learned about the metre, how many cm in a metre and experimented with how many steps/jumps/skips there are in a metre!! The boys really enjoyed it!
We also had World Book Day in March, where we spent the whole day discussing our favourite authors and books. We designed our own book covers, stories, blurbs and many more components!! The boys dressed up as their favourite character from their favourite book and shared one reason why it was their favourite character/book!!
