We celebrated Science Week last week. On Monday, our teahcer showed us how to make a lava lamp. Some us made them at home and brought them into school to show the class. We learned how to pierce a balloon the whole way through using a skewer without bursting the balloon! On Wednesday we saw a 'volvano' erupt in our classroom! On Thursday, our teacher used a hair dryer to flip an empty can from one cup into another! The highlight of the week was our session with Rasha on Friday. Rasha runs the afterschool Science Club on Wednesdays. We made battery operated 'cars' and we got to bring them home!
