On Friday October 3rd, we lead the School Assembly in the hall. The theme of our presentation was 'Friendship', At the start of the assembly we held up the letters that made the word 'friendship' but in the incorrect order and the rest of the school had to work out what the theme was. It didn't take long for a boy in 6th Class to get it right! We recited a poem called 'A Friend is like a Star'. Some boys read aloud what they had written in their copies about firends (in Irish). One boy read aloud the recount he wrote titled 'The Sleepover'. We read some prayers asking God to bless our friends and ended the assembly with 'Count on Me' by Bruno Mars. Everyone said that our assembly was great ... and it reallly was!!
